ZVK has just released his second studio album entitled 'Sabuni'. An album that was brought about through a holiday to Tanzania, where he learnt about his heritage and his family.

A year has passed since I has released music. Since then it has been a year of rediscovery and quiet growth - not just as an artist but as a human being. Without these necessary experiences, this project would not exist whatsoever. This is my path to open up and get introspective on certain areas of my life. I have made new friendships, drifted closer to and further away in existing relationships and have endured mental and spiritual warfare alike that have given me the sensibility to be more vulnerable in a way that I can only release through music. In writing songs and creating art, one learns about themself. I find that I express opinions and feelings I never really acknowledged. Titled after my ancestral surname, and a history untold to me until recently, this project was made with a clear personal vision that filters through every song, so not just anybody was involved in the creative process. With that being said, thank you to Will for lending your incredible talent as a musician and also Tychie, Lou and Saf for the parts you played in enhancing this experience. To Matt for mixing almost every song and bringing this concept to fruition. To UNKLE, for playing a pivotal role in my growth as a producer and artist without even realising. And finally to Jules, for your consistent support, input and encouragement throughout the creation of this project. Blood, sweat and real tears. ENJOY. ZVK
